Sponsorship Letter

Dear Sponsor,

The 2012 Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Block Party will be back for its 15th year on Sunday, July 15 in Olde Town Arvada. People from throughout metro Denver will gather again this year for a fun day in Olde Town Arvada, enjoy great food and listen to music by some of the best local bands in the area -- all to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver -- and we need your help!

Habitat for Humanity is a homeownership program for hard-working, low-income families in need of a safe and affordable home. They help families get out of crowded, overpriced or substandard housing and into a stable, financially manageable home. Families who are willing to work hard to achieve their dream of homeownership invest hundreds of hours to help build their home, and then purchase it with an affordable, zero-percent interest mortgage. They are able to do this through generous donations from the community.

The Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Block Party in 2011 raised $10,000 to help build a home in Golden for a family of five. You can help Blues & BBQ for Better Housing donate even more this year, and put on a great show in the process.

All proceeds from the 2012 block party will directly benefit Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. By giving at any level, you generate financial support and public awareness for Habitat’s cause well beyond the dollar value of an individual donation. Your donation, whether it's financial or in-kind, may be tax-deductible.

Detailed information about sponsorship levels is included in this packet. If you don’t see something that fits your budget or needs, we’ll be happy to work with you to find something that will.

In this challenging economic climate, your support can make a vital difference in the lives of families right here in the Denver metro area by making their dream of home ownership come true. Join us as a sponsor today – you’ll be glad you did.

Sincerely,
